Continuing Education (non-credit)
Continuing education courses are developed in response to specific educational demands and requests of citizens, professional and business groups, and other organizations. The major role of continuing education is to develop and implement courses for career and professional development and personal interest and enrichment.
Continuing education courses are offered in an informal and non-competitive setting. Classes are offered on campus and online to meet the schedules of all interested students. Usually, there are no grades, exams, or prerequisites for the classes with the exception of all online classes and some other classes. Admission to the college is not required. However, advanced registration into the class is required.
Courses can be offered in the classroom on our North Campus (Sandersville), South Campus (Dublin), Hancock, Jefferson, and LOIC. Online courses are offered via OFTC, TCSG and strategic partnerships with companies who are recognized experts in distance learning.
