The OFTC Foundation, Inc. Credit Program Scholarships
B-H Transfer Commercial Truck Driving Scholarship
Scholarships awarded to two students (one on each campus) who are currently enrolled in the Oconee Fall Line Technical College CTD program for either the A or B session of fall semester. Scholarship is available to students on either the Dublin or Sandersville Campus.
CGSGa Practical Nursing Scholarship
Scholarships awarded to two students (one on each campus) who are enrolled in the practical nursing program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. This scholarship is available all semesters and students may receive the funds only two times in their career at OFTC. To be eligible students must be enrolled on either the Sandersville or Dublin Campus of OFTC.
Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to students (no more than five per semester) who are enrolled in the machine tool diploma or degree program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. This scholarship is available all semesters and students may only receive the award once in their career at OFTC.
Hancock Strong Adult Education Scholarship
Available to Hancock County residents only, this scholarship will be awarded to an Oconee Fall Line Technical College student who has transitioned from the OFTC Adult Education program into any credit program at OFTC. Students may only receive a Hancock Strong award twice in their career at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. This scholarship is available all semesters.
Hancock Strong Dual Enrollment Scholarship
Available to Hancock County residents only, this scholarship will be awarded to an Oconee Fall Line Technical College student who has transitioned from the OFTC Dual Enrollment program into any credit program at OFTC. Students may only receive a Hancock Strong award twice in their career at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. This scholarship is available all semesters.
Hancock Strong General Scholarship
Available to Hancock County residents only, this scholarship will be awarded to an Oconee Fall Line Technical College student enrolled in any program at OFTC. Students may only receive a Hancock Strong award twice in their career at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. This scholarship is available all semesters.
Hancock Strong Health Care Scholarship
Available to Hancock County residents only, this scholarship will be awarded to an Oconee Fall Line Technical College student enrolled in any health care program at OFTC. Students may only receive a Hancock Strong award twice in their career at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. This scholarship is available all semesters.
Horadan Early Childhood Care and Education Scholarship
The Horadan Scholarship is awarded annually to four early childhood care and education students enrolled at Oconee Fall Line Technical College on the Dublin Campus. The scholarship was established by Dr. Lloyd Horadan and his family in memory of his mother, Joyce Horadan, a life-long educator.
Howard Sheppard Commercial Truck Driving Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded to four deserving students enrolled in the CTD program for fall semester on either the Sandersville or Dublin Campus.
Merchants and Citizens Bank Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded to residents of Telfair or Wheeler Counties who are enrolled in a credit program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s Dublin or Helena Campus. Students must be in good academic standing and have earned a minimum of three semester hours, and are enrolled in the semester for which they are requesting assistance.
OFTC Foundation Allied Health Scholarship
The OFTC Foundation established the allied health scholarship to aid full-time students who are enrolled in an allied health diploma or degree program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s Dublin Campus. Students must be in good academic standing with the college and enrolled in at least 12 credit hours for either the fall or spring semester in which they are making application.
OFTC Foundation General Education Scholarships
The OFTC Foundation General Education Scholarships will be awarded to student who are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. Applicants for this scholarship must be residents of Bleckley, Dodge, Laurens, Telfair, Wheeler, or Wilkinson county. The Foundation will award 24 scholarships annually to students enrolled in any diploma or degree program. Awards will be made in two stipends, one fall semester and one spring. Stipends paid once students verify successful completion of the fall and spring semesters.
Randy Helton Family Scholarship
The Randy Helton Family Scholarship was established in 2019 in honor of long serving Trustee Randy Helton. The scholarship is available to all students regardless of program or campus. One scholarship will be awarded each semester to a deserving student who had a GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Schrader Vision of Hope Medical Imaging Scholarship
The Schrader Vision of Hope Medical Imaging Scholarship was established by Oconee Fall Line Technical College employee Lottie “Schrader” Rizzardi in memory of her brothers, Devella Mitchell “Mitch” Schrader and Edward James “Eddy” Schrader, Jr., both who passed away after battling cancer. The scholarship is designed to assist students in pursuing or advancing a career in medical imaging.
Sterrett ADN Nursing Scholarship
The Sterrett ADN Nursing Scholarship will be awarded annually to a student enrolled in the OFTC ADN-Bridge program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College on the Sandersville Campus. The scholarship will be distributed in two stipends, one spring semester and one summer semester, unless other arrangements are made. Students must be accepted into the ADN program and have a GPA of a B or greater to apply.
Sodmasters Turf Grass Farm CTD Scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled as a student in the Commercial Truck Driving Program at OFTC Dublin Campus. Attach a 50-word personal explanation of the most valuable or positive relationship in their life and why. Deadline to complete the application is prior to the first two completed weeks of the semester. Must have a Commercial Learner’s Permit.
Sterrett LPN Scholarship
The Sterrett LPN Scholarship will be awarded each year to a student enrolled in the practical nursing program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College Sandersville Campus. Students must be enrolled in PNSG2230 class and have a GPA of a B or greater to make application.
Tommy Barlow Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled in the automotive technology program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s Dublin campus. The scholarship was established in memory of Tommy Barlow, who tragically lost his life April 6, 2014. Because of Tommy’s lifelong love and passion for repairing and restoring automobiles, his family established the scholarship in his memory.

Alton McCullough Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school student from the Laurens County School System who enrolls in a Trades and Industrial Program (preferably diesel) at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. A paper application must be submitted through the High School Coordinator at Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s Dublin Campus. Additionally, applicants must submit a high school transcript and two personal references.
Brandon Lawrence Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Wheeler County High School who enrolls or plans to enroll at Oconee Fall Line Technical College following high school graduation. A paper application, high school transcript, and two personal references must be submitted through the High School Coordinator at OFTC’s Dublin Campus.
Dr. Jaroy & Elysea Stuckey
Dual Enrollment Scholarship
The Dr. Jaroy & Elysea Stuckey Dual Enrollment Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior from Dublin High School who has enrolled in Oconee Fall Line Technical College to continue their education following high school graduation. The scholarship is given in memory of Dr. Jaroy Stuckey, his wife Elysea, son A.J., and unborn child who were killed in a tragic automobile accident March 14, 2021. Dr. Stuckey was the serving principal at Dublin High School and an avid supporter of Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s Dual Enrollment program for many years. Elysea Stuckey was also a graduate of Oconee Fall Line Technical College who worked as a nurse at the Dublin Veterans Affairs Hospital. A paper application, high school transcript, and two personal references must be submitted through the High School Coordinator at OFTC’s Dublin Campus.
Frank Wall Scholarship
The Frank Wall Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior from Wilkinson County who enrolls or plans to enroll at Oconee Fall Line Technical College following high school graduation. A paper application, high school transcript, and two personal references must be submitted through the High School Coordinator at OFTC’s Dublin Campus.
Johnny Howard Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a student who enrolls or plans to enroll in the welding and joining program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College following high school graduation. A paper application, high school transcript, and two personal references must be submitted through the High School Coordinator at OFTC’s Dublin Campus.
