Articulation (Transfer) Agreements

For Oconee Fall Line Technical College and the Technical College System of Georgia

An articulation agreement is a formal agreement to transfer credits from one educational institution or system to another. OFTC graduates can take advantage of several local and state-wide articulation agreements to minimize repeating coursework and to facilitate a smooth transfer of earned credits into a four-year college or university. *

University System of Georgia (USG) General Education Transfer Courses (TCSG State-Wide Agreement):

  • General Core Agreement: The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG)-USG agreement specifies 27 general education courses that are guaranteed to transfer between SACSCOC-accredited institutions.

Georgia Independent College Association (GICA) General Education Transfer Courses (TCSG State-Wide Agreement):

  • General Core Agreement: THE GICA and TCSG agreement specifies general education core classes that transfer to private institutions, including Wesleyan College, Mercer University, and Georgia Military College
