OFTC Students Awarded Howard Sheppard Inc. CTD Scholarships
The OFTC Foundation North, Inc. has awarded the Howard Sheppard Inc. Commercial Truck Driving Scholarships to four students for the 2017 fall semester: Daniel Kelly of Gibson, Thomas Wood of Milledgeville, Quantavious Jordan of Waynesboro and Steven Durrence of Helena. Each student is enrolled in the Commercial Truck Driving (CTD) program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC).
The Howard Sheppard Inc. CTD Scholarship was established in memory of founder Howard Sheppard by his family and is a way to recognize commercial truck driving students for their efforts and achievements. The scholarship is awarded each fall semester and is available to students at OFTC’s Sandersville, Louisville and Dublin campuses where commercial truck driving is taught.
