Spring Hancock Strong Scholarship Recipients Announced

The Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) North Foundation recently announced Keitha Walls as the Spring 2018 recipient of the Hancock Strong General Scholarship and Channell Hunt as the Spring 2018 recipient of the Hancock Strong Allied Health Scholarship.

The Hancock Strong Scholarship opportunities are provided by a former Hancock County resident and an anonymous donor who wish to see the residents of Hancock County succeed, and Hancock County thrive as a result, shared OFTC Foundation North representative, Kathy Aaron.

Walls, a resident of Hancock County, attends OFTC in Sandersville and is enrolled in an Allied Health program. After she graduates she hopes to become a Registered Nurse through OFTC’s ADN program.

Hunt, also a resident of Hancock County, is enrolled in the Healthcare Assisting Program at OFTC in Sandersville. Her goal is to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and then a Registered Nurse through OFTC’s ADN program.
