One-Stop Enrollment Day Scheduled for Oct. 2 in Sandersville & Oct. 9 in Dublin

With Fall Semester Minimester classes beginning October 21, Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) invites those interested in starting classes to attend a One-Stop Enrollment Day where they can meet one-on-one with college representatives who can help guide them through the enrollment process.
The purpose of the event is to assist students in expediting their enrollment for the upcoming minimester or adult education classes and inform them of financial aid opportunities available to help them pay for classes.
“We are offering these two Saturday events to better serve our students and community,” shared Dr. Saketha Adams, OFTC’s Vice President of Student Affairs. “We want to give those who are working and with families at home an opportunity to come and see what OFTC has to offer on a day they may not have as many responsibilities.”
Whether a student needs to get started or finish the enrollment process at OFTC, staff representing multiple departments will be available to help them complete the enrollment process in one day. Students should plan to come in person and bring essential documents, including a high school transcript, a government-issued photo ID such as a valid driver’s license or military ID, and a 2019 tax return.
The One-Stop Enrollment Day will take place at the Sandersville Campus on Saturday, October 2, from 10AM-1PM in the Atrium, and on the Dublin Campus on Saturday, October 9, from 10AM-1PM in the Stewart Building.
Minimesters
OFTC’s Minimester classes are offered during a shorter semester, averaging 8 weeks. Students can complete a course with the same quality of instruction but on a shorter schedule and choose from a variety of courses, including online formats.
The shortened semester offers students an additional opportunity to complete the classes they need to pursue their desired career. Current students who dropped a class or didn’t pick up enough hours during the traditional fall semester can take advantage of these minimester classes to help stay on course.
