OFTC’s Foundation Announces Fall 2022 Scholarship Recipients

The Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation recently announced a number of students who have been awarded scholarships for the Fall 2022 semester.

Horadan Early Childhood Education Scholarship

Ms. Linda Shenk was selected as the recipient of the Horadan Early Childhood Education Scholarship for the 2022 fall semester. Shenk is from Johnson county and attends OFTC’s Dublin campus. This scholarship is made possible by donations from the family of former OFTC President, Dr. Lloyd Horadan.

Randy Helton Family Scholarship

Ms. Maci Raffield was selected as the recipient of the Randy Helton Family Scholarship for the 2022 fall semester. Maci is from Dublin and is enrolled in the Respiratory Care program on the Dublin campus. This scholarship is made possible by donations from Foundation Trustee Randy Helton and his family.

CHSGa Practical Nursing Scholarship

Ms. Bailey Creamer was selected as the recipient of the CHSGa Practical Nursing Scholarship for the 2022 fall semester. Creamer is from Cadwell and is enrolled in OFTC’s Practical Nursing program on the Dublin campus.

Quintesa Mclendon of Soperton was also selected for the 2022 fall semester CHSGa Practical Nursing scholarship. Mclendon is enrolled in the Practical Nursing program on the Dublin campus. These scholarships are made possible by a grant from CHSGa.

Sodmasters Turf Grass Farm CTD Scholarship

Mr. Thimothy Burris was selected as the recipient of the Sodmasters Turf Grass Farm CTD Scholarship for the 2022 fall semester. Burris is from Irwinton and is enrolled in Commercial Truck Driving classes on the Dublin campus. This scholarship is made possible by generous donations from Sodmasters Turf Farms.

B-H Transfer Commercial Truck Driving Scholarship

Mr. Gregory Lewis was selected as the recipient of a B-H Transfer Commercial Truck Driving (CTD) Scholarship for the 2022 fall semester. Lewis is from Milledgeville and is enrolled in CTD classes on the Sandersville campus. This scholarship is made possible by generous donations from B-H Transfer Company.

Howard Sheppard Commercial Truck Driving Scholarship

Ms. Christie Wright was selected as a recipient of the Howard Sheppard Inc. Commercial Truck Driving (CTD) Scholarship for the 2022 fall semester. Wright is from Dublin and is enrolled in CTD classes on the Dublin campus. This scholarship is made possible by generous donations from Howard Sheppard Inc.

Ms. Malesila Yorker was selected as a recipient of the Howard Sheppard Inc. Commercial Truck Driving Scholarship (CTD) for fall semester 2022. Yorker is from Davisboro and is enrolled in CTD classes on the Sandersville campus. This scholarship is made possible by generous donations from Howard Sheppard Inc.

Schrader Vision of Hope Medical Imaging Scholarship

Ms. Jordan Hay was selected as the recipient of the Schrader Vision of Hope Medical Imaging Scholarship for the 2022 fall semester. Hay is from Cadwell and is enrolled in Diagnostic Medical Sonography on the Dublin campus. This scholarship is made possible by generous donations from the Schrader Family.

The OFTC Foundation, Inc. is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established to support students and programs at the college.
