Oconee Fall Technical College (OFTC) held its spring commencement and GED graduation on Thursday, June 16 at its South Campus in Dublin.

The College recognized students completing their associate of applied science degree, diploma or technical certificate of credit as well as those who received their GED. Participating graduates attended classes online or at one OFTC’s campuses in Sandersville, Dublin, Louisville, Helena or Eastman.

Maryalice Morro, RN, MSN, director at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center delivered the commencement address.

Throughout the program, student success remained a highlight. OFTC’s 2016 EAGLE Delegate Avelina Morales provided the invocation.

Several of the graduates walking across the stage have already realized some of their goals, securing jobs in their fields of study. For example, Respiratory Care graduate Brianna Carey will take on a position at a medical center in Macon, Ga.

OFTC offers over 100 programs of study that prepare students for career success in two years or less. To learn more about enrolling, visit a local OFTC campus, or contact the Admissions Office at 478-553-2064 (North Campus) and 478-274-7837 (South Campus).
