OFTC To Host Health Career Camp for High Schoolers in Dublin this June
The Magnolia Coastlands Area Health Education Center is sponsoring a summer day camp at Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s (OFTC) Dublin campus for rising 9th through 12th grade students and graduating seniors who are interested in a career in the healthcare field, June 17-20.
Camp activities include meeting with practicing health professionals to discuss the challenges and rewards of providing health care today, talking with healthcare professions students about their own learning experiences, touring health care facilities and colleges, gaining expert advice on schools which offer healthcare professions programs, and more.
The cost of the entire camp is $30 and includes lunch each day. The camp will meet from 9 AM to 3 PM Monday through Wednesday and 9 AM to 1 PM on Thursday and participants will need transportation to and from OFTC’s Dublin campus each day.
