OFTC Honors the 2022 State EAGLE Winner, Rochelle White

Rochelle White is an adult education student at Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) working towards obtaining her high school equivalency.
In March, she was named the 2022 Dinah Culbreath Wayne Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education (EAGLE) Award winner for outstanding achievement in the state’s adult education program by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).
The college held a reception in her honor Monday, May 2, in Dublin as she prepares to begin her journey as an ambassador for adult education speaking to students, civic groups, legislators, and others about literacy and lifelong learning.
During the reception, OFTC’s Foundation presented White with a monetary award to help with expenses as she fulfills her duties as the state’s EAGLE winner.
OFTC offers adult education classes in person, online, and in a hybrid format at 16 different locations in Washington, Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Warren, Laurens, Bleckley, Dodge, Telfair, Wheeler, and Wilkinson counties.
