OFTC Foundation Announces Spring 2023 Scholarships 

OFTC Foundation Spring 2023 Scholarship recipients

The Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established to support students and programs at OFTC. One way this is accomplished is through student scholarships. 

The following OFTC Foundation scholarships were recently awarded to OFTC students for the Spring 2023 semester.

CHSGa LPN Scholarship  

The OFTC Foundation is pleased to name Alyssa Reed as the recipient of the CHSGa LPN Scholarship for the spring 2023 semester. Reed is enrolled in the Practical Nursing (PN) program located on OFTC’s Dublin Campus.

CHSGa is an organization that employs nurses throughout OFTC’s service delivery area. Their Foundation, the Community Health Foundation, a service delivery line of CHSGa, has donated $8,000 in scholarship funds to support students enrolled in OFTC’s PN Program.

Gene Haas Scholarship 

OFTC Machine Tool student, Benjamin Thomas of Dublin, was recently awarded the Gene Haas Scholarship from the OFTC Foundation for the spring 2023 semester. 

This scholarship is made possible by a grant from The Gene Haas Foundation which designates awards to students enrolled in OFTC’s Machine Tool Technology Program. 

Merchants & Citizens Bank Scholarship

Brittiany Bryant was awarded the OFTC Merchants & Citizens Bank Scholarship for the spring 2023 semester. 

This scholarship was established by The Merchants & Citizens Bank of McRae to assist students from Telfair or Wheeler County who are enrolled in a credit program of study at OFTC. 

Merchants & Citizens Bank is a proud supporter of OFTC students who reside in Telfair and Wheeler counties, as they work toward their career goals.
