OFTC Announces New Date & Location for Fall 2021 Commencement Ceremony

In a recent letter to Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s (OFTC) Fall 2021 graduates OFTC President Erica Harden, announced new plans for the college’s Fall 2021 Commencement Ceremony.
“We planned to hold the Fall Commencement Ceremony on our Sandersville Campus in the Tarbutton Conference Center on September 23, 2021. However, due to the increase in the spread of COVID-19 in our 11-county service area we are postponing the event and moving it to our Dublin Campus’s larger Dubose Porter Conference Center on October 14, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution and to allow more family members to attend the event.
Currently, we have 98 graduates participating in the ceremony, and if we held the ceremony in Sandersville, we could only host the graduates due to social distancing guidelines. However, the Dubose Porter Conference Center will allow to us to provide space for more guests. Therefore, each graduate will be issued tickets for up to five guests.
We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you or your family. If you need a refund on the graduation fee, please contact Jennifer Thigpen at jthigpen@oftc.edu or Debbie Garrett at dgarrett@oftc.edu.
We look forward to seeing you and celebrating your accomplishments.”
