The scholarship was established in honor of former Technical College System of Georgia Commissioner Dr. Kenneth Breeden. Ever an advocate for technical education and for OFTC, Dr. Breeden was instrumental in the establishment of what was then Sandersville Technical College.

Each year the Foundation awards the Kenneth Breeden Scholarship to the college’s Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) recipient. Nominated by his instructor and selected by a panel of community leaders, Williams will go on to represent OFTC at regional and state competitions. The Foundation is very proud of Nathan and wishes to congratulate him as the 2017 recipient of the Kenneth Breeden Scholarship and as the OFTC GOAL student.
