Lawrence, White, Stapleton and Taylor Receive Gene Haas Scholarships

The OFTC Foundation-South, Inc. has awarded the Gene Haas Scholarship to four Oconee Fall Line Technical College students.  The scholarships are made possible by a grant from The Gene Haas Foundation, which designates awards to students enrolled in the Machine Tool Technology Program.

Those receiving the scholarship for spring semester are Patrick Lawrence of East Dublin, Levi Stapleton of Swainsboro, Charles Taylor of Dublin, and Larry White of Kite.

“The generosity of the Gene Haas Foundation for our Machine Tool Technology students at Oconee Fall Line Technical College is incredible, and the South Foundation is proud to be a partner in this endeavor,” commented Jenny Shuman, executive director of the OFTC South Foundation.
