Health Career Camp Happening at OFTC This Summer

The Magnolia Coastlands Area Health Education Center is sponsoring a summer camp at Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s (OFTC) Dublin campus for rising 9th through 12th grade students and graduating seniors who are interested in a career in healthcare, June 18-21.

Camp activities include meeting with practicing health professionals to discuss the challenges and rewards of providing health care today, talking with health professions students about their own learning experiences, touring health care facilities and colleges, gaining expert advice on schools which offer health professions programs, and more.

The cost of the entire camp is $25 and includes lunch each day. The camp will meet from 9 AM to 3 PM Monday through Wednesday and 9 AM to 1 PM on Thursday and participants will need transportation to and from OFTC’s Dublin campus each day.
