Fall Commencement Date and Speaker Announced

Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) will host their 2017 Fall Commencement ceremony at the Ben J. Tarbutton Business Development Center in Sandersville, Thursday, October 19 at 7:00 P.M.

The college will award graduates with associate degrees, diplomas and technical certificates of credit in a variety of high-demand fields in Georgia.

Washington County native, Chad Waller will serve as keynote speaker during the ceremony. Waller is a graduate of Middle Georgia State University in Cochran where he studied music. He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Waller-Hill Publishing and is author of three books as well as three full length musicals and numerous songs to date.

Waller is the lead pastor of Victory Central Church (VC2) in Tennille, Ga., and his weekly messages are heard worldwide via weekly podcasts. He is an active member of the Washington County Pastoral Association where he has served as President.

He and his wife, Melinda Anderson Waller have been married for 30 years and have six children and eight grandchildren

If asked, Waller would say the most important job in his life has been raising and educating his children, two of which have graduated from OFTC and a third who is scheduled to graduate soon.
