David Clark Named Brandon Lawrence Scholarship Recipient

David Clark was recently announced as the recipient of the Brandon Lawrence Scholarship for the 2021-22 academic year by the Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation.
The scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors from Wheeler County who enroll at OFTC. It is given annually in memory of Brandon Timothy Lawrence who lost his life in a tragic car accident in 2004. Because of Brandon’s zest for life, high academic achievements and love of people, his family established a scholarship in his memory.
“The purpose of the scholarship is to award a student from Brandon’s high school who has a genuine desire to complete a diploma or degree in technical education and exhibits the same characteristics as Brandon,” shared Kathy Aaron, OFTC’s Executive Director of Institutional Advancement.
“The OFTC Foundation is confident that David, having met all the scholarship requirements, is the perfect recipient for this award,” she added.
