The rankings were chosen by after reviewing all accredited beauty and cosmetology schools in the United States; programs were selected based on which programs provided students with the best learning experience and had the best admission rates, student loan default rates, retention rates and graduation rates.

“Anything is possible when you have a great team of instructors and an administration who makes sure the students have the best learning environment,” said Lisa Jones, OFTC Cosmetology Instructor. “Our program strives to make sure our students reach their goals and are ready to start their Cosmetology careers. This acknowledgment is an honor; It validates the hard work and dedication of our students.”

Tammy Bayto, Dean of OFTC’s Cosmetology Program agreed with Jones and added: “OFTC has a dynamic team of cosmetology instructors and state-of-the-art facilities for students to learn their trade. Having an external agency acknowledge that our program is one of the best is a stamp of approval that we are excited to gain!”

OFTC’s Cosmetology program offers students a Technical Certificate of Credit and a Diploma and prepares students for careers related to skin, hair and nails. The program emphasizes the theory and practical aspects of running an efficient and effective beauty salon.

Students can enroll in Cosmetology classes at the Sandersville or Dublin campus; night classes are also available.
