BRIDGE Club Attends Play In Macon

Students involved in Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s BRIDGE Club participated in the club’s annual trip to the Macon Little Theatre in Macon, GA, to see the play ‘A Higher Place in Heaven,’ on Friday, February 10th.

BRIDGE is an acronym that stands for Broadening, Redefining, Individuality, Diversity, Goodwill, and Excellence and was created with the purpose to encourage students to stay in school and expose students to new experiences.

“We are trying to develop the students as individuals,” said club advisor Lecresicia Marion. “We want to encourage and develop their skills so they will be successful in the workforce and in life.”

Attending the play was the perfect event for students in BRIDGE Club as it was the first live play many had ever experienced, Marion added.

Students from the college’s North Campus in Sandersville and the South Campus in Sandersville were represented along with club advisors Lecresicia Marion and Dr. Tiffany Daniel.

After the play the group had dinner at Jeneane’s at Pinebrook.
