Continuing Ed to Offer Basic Self Defense Class for Women

Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s (OFTC) Continuing Education Department will offer a Basic Self Defense course designed specifically for women on the Dublin Campus, November 6th and on the Sandersville Campus November 13th. Participants in this Basic Self Defense course will learn the basics of safety and personal defense. Location and site safety assessment will be reviewed and effective techniques for responding to a physical threat will be demonstrated. A highlight of the course will be the opportunity for participants to practice these techniques safely under the direction of the instructor, an experienced Criminal Justice professional.
