Orientation to the Library
Orientation to the library and the use of its print and electronic resources is available to students, faculty, and staff in a variety of delivery methods. The online orientation gives a broad overview of library resources, services, and OFTC facilities. The orientation also provides instruction for accessing online resources from off campus. For specific instructions in the use of reference and research materials and databases, see tutorials below.
OFTC Lending Library
The Janice Jackson Lending Library gives students of OFTC an opportunity to borrow books for their current term of attendance. The students are asked to return the books at the end of the term for future use by other students at OFTC. Students may apply each term for assistance with books needed. The books are loaned based on the student’s financial need for assistance.
